Surfing like an awesome Girl: IKIT

When the waves are small, the line-up of Siargao gets 2 wonderful long boarders. One of them, Ikit (who also models in her spare time and organizes delicious dinners for friends) is rocking the lineup with her amazing style.
I got to know her and she is amazing. Ikit told me how she is super inspired about teaching surfing to women, including the longboard technique. She thinks that it is very important to encourage women to be more active in sports to discover their inner nature.
Ikit also organized a dinner for us with a lot of friends; it was very special to see the power she has to bring people together.
The food was delicious and Ikit then told me how much she enjoys the waves and teaching people to enjoy them as much as she does.
We went surfing together some days later to Tuason point. She was with her ‘apprentices’ and it was amazing to watch how much fun they were having.
Ikit is easygoing and a great companion to be with in the ocean.
