Copenhagen CPH - DUS Düsseldorf 1:10 hrs.

DUS - AUH Abu Dhabi 6:30 hrs.

AUH - MNL Manila 9:15 hrs.

MNL - CEB Cebu 1:10 hrs.

CEB - IAO Siargao 1:00 hr.

The moment I stepped onto the flight to Abu Dhabi the feeling was amazing. Etihad is a great company to fly and the stewardesses gave us great advices for visiting the Philippines after I told them I was on my way to Manila.

Arriving to Manila was incredible; the people are more than friendly. Almost everyone speaks English and smile all the time. In Manila airport there is a huge place to eat in Terminal 3, with tons of restaurants and even a spa where I took a shower and had a very deserved manicure for only 1000 PHP, about 20 USD.

Getting to Siargao from Manila is quite tricky: there is 2 direct flights a week that leave early in the morning and the rest are from Cebu.

Cebu is one of the biggest international airports in the Philippines, actually it is better if you plan your flight directly from Cebu flying with Cebu Pacific or Philippines Airlines.

Cebu airport is small but you can find great shops for coffee and donuts. The airport is very small and actually you even get your luggage directly from the hands of the employers.

Arriving to Siargao is the closest you are going to be from paradise. Our way to Buddha’s Surf Resort was a beautiful highway with coconut palm trees and the houses of people along the road.

Being in Siargao is fantastic. I am enjoying surfing at cloud9 and the adventures in this beautiful island.
